Our newsroom operates independently of advertisers, investors and commercial partners. Editorial staff do not accept payment, gifts or favors for coverage.
Sourcing
We prefer named, primary sources and official documents. Anonymous sourcing is used only for important information that cannot reasonably be obtained on the record.
Conflicts
Writers disclose material interests. Editors reassign coverage where a conflict could compromise independence.
Corrections
We correct substantive errors promptly and append a clear note explaining what changed.
AI and automation
Journalists remain accountable for everything we publish. Automation may assist production but never replaces verification or human judgment.
